HOW UNTAMED WAS BORN

For me, movement has always been about freedom.

The freedom to hike mountains, catch waves, kiteboard across the ocean, ride motocross, practice yoga, explore new places, and fully embrace every adventure life has to offer.

But my journey to get here wasn't straightforward.

As a teenager, I struggled with an eating disorder and an unhealthy relationship with my body. Like many women, I believed fitness was something to be earned, controlled, or perfected. It took years of learning, healing, and self-discovery to understand that true health comes from working with your body, not against it.

At 18 years old, I underwent surgery on both calves for Lateral Compartment Syndrome. At the time, I dreamed of pursuing soccer or hockey at a higher level, but those ambitions were cut short. What felt like the end of one path ultimately led me toward another.

Determined to better understand the body and help others overcome their own challenges, I studied as an Exercise Specialist and began my career as a coach.

Over the next decade, I worked as a Personal Trainer, Exercise Specialist, Nutritional Advisor, and Yoga Teacher. I coached clients privately, worked at BUC Fitness Club, ran women's fitness bootcamps in collaboration with Backline Babes, and later spent seven years in the superyacht industry training yacht owners, guests, and crew around the world.

But the biggest lesson was still to come.

In 2025, I was diagnosed with two herniated discs.

For someone whose life revolves around movement, adventure, and sport, it was one of the most challenging periods I've ever faced. Activities I loved suddenly became painful. My body felt unreliable. I was forced to slow down, reassess, and rebuild from the ground up.

Yet through that process, I rediscovered something that had always been at the heart of my philosophy:

Resilience isn't built when things are easy.

It's built in the moments when life forces you to start over.

The rehabilitation journey taught me that strength isn't measured by how much weight you can lift or how hard you can push yourself. True strength is having the patience to rebuild, the discipline to stay consistent, and the courage to keep moving forward when progress feels slow.

That journey became the foundation of UNTAMED.

UNTAMED was created for women who want more than quick fixes, extremes, and all-or-nothing approaches.

It's for women who want to build strong, capable bodies that support the life they want to live.

Women who want to feel confident in their own skin.

Women who want to move without fear.

Women who are learning to trust themselves again.

My mission is to help women create a sustainable lifestyle built on strength, resilience, balance, and self-respect.

Because fitness isn't a destination.

It's the foundation that allows you to live fully, pursue your passions, and show up as the strongest version of yourself.

No matter how many times life asks you to rebuild.

That is what it means to be UNTAMED.

UNTAMED ISN’T A trend.

It’s a standard.

Untamed Fitness Co is built for women who value strength over shortcuts, consistency over extremes, and long-term health over temporary results.

The why

Untamed was born through rebuilding.

After navigating injuries, setbacks, and seasons where I felt disconnected from myself, movement became the one thing I could always return to.

Not as punishment.

Not as a way to earn my worth.

But as a way to reconnect.

Through that process, I learned that real strength isn't built through extremes.

It's built through discipline.

Resilience.

And showing up, especially when it's hard.

UNTAMED exists to help others do the same.

To become stronger, steadier, and more resilient than before.

how we train

At Untamed, we train with intention.
